WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
October 20 - 25, 2013, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, TN
Due to the "Government Shutdown" and the subsequent closure of all National Parks, this is the workshop that was literally saved at the 11th hour! With the GSMNP open, the workshop proceeded as planned. The fall color was behind schedule this year but progressed nicely throughout the week. As usual, we devoted most of our time to shooting, but allowed just enough time for everyone to review their images and polish a few in Lightroom. We stayed so busy, we almost forgot to get a group photo. Fortunately Donna remembered and used her iPhone to capture the group shot at our farewell dinner at No Way Jose!

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants were asked to contribute 5 of their favorite images to share with the group in a photo critique and slide show. Those images are shown below, with credit given to the individual photographer. Amazing stuff huh? I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and working with each of you and hope to see you at a future workshop!
