I was lucky yo be invited by the Amazon Conservation Organization http://www.amazonconservation.org/ to visit some of their sites in the Manu region of southeast Peru in order to consult with them on their development for bird tourism. This took me along the famous Manu Road to their biological stations at Wayqecha and Villas Carmen, and also to the CICRA station on the Madre de Dios River. All the sites were excellent, and I hope to return to them again someday. I also sneaked in a day at Lomas de Lachay near Lima, at the end too.
