The photos in this gallery were taken on a two week trip to Chile in October-November 2008.
On this trip we covered all the three main regions of Chile (Patagonia in the south, and both central and northern Chile too).
This allowed us to see some of the best habitats in Chile - including the Patagonian grasslands and steppes in Magallanes, the atmospheric mixed araucaria (Monkey Puzzle) and nothofagus (beech) forests in the centre, and the Oases Valleys and altiplano in the northern Andes.
