I took my first trip to Australia in September 2006 and was instantly hooked on the Aussie birds and this fantastic, under populated country. I have travelled to Australia five times, mainly in the bird-rich lush rainforests of the east, but also spent a bit of time in Outback Queensland, the Northern Territory, Tasmania, as well as searching for localized endemics in Western Australia, in addition to a brief stint on the legendary Birdsville and Strzlecki Tracks in the south.
