This Indian is the featured machine in this part of the exhibit. It was raced by Al Evans, the father of Don Evans of Spokane WA. It is presented here in its original, unrestored state. It even drips a bit of oil! The shellacked tape holding the seat in place remains as it was the last time the machine was run. Its strength is that it exhibits the character of a working bike that might have been run yesterday and could run again tomorrow. Incidentally, it remains in running condition to this date.
