Moraga is a small town next to Orinda, the town prides itself on living part nature and part small

town life. its much like living in the country, I see on a weekly basis deers, cows and

bicyclist, its most famous landmark is the Saint Mary College a insititution deciated to liberal

arts and sports. The town doesnt even have a hospital or a Mcdonald. but it is one of the highest

volume post office on the east bay its so busy we dont even have a walking route we all must drive

to complete our deliveries throughout the town.

BEN FRANKLIN was the first postmaster, he was an inventer and a politian but he never ran for office.

famous words from the postmaster;

''A penny saved is a penny earned.''

''Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.''

''By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.''

''Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.''

''Genius without education is like silver in the mine.''

''He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.''

''Honesty is the best policy.''

''Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today.''

''In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes.''

The United States Postal Service has no official creed or motto. Often falsely cited as such,

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of

their appointed rounds" is merely an inscription on the James Farley Post Office, derived from a

quote from Herodotus' Histories (8.98), referring to the ancient courier service of the Persian

Empire:

It is said that as many days as there are in the whole journey, so many are the men and horses that stand along the road, each horse and man at the interval of a day’s journey; and these are stayed neither by snow nor rain nor heat nor darkness from accomplishing their appointed course with all speed.
