Joanita was staying with some relatives at Dar. Consequently, we paid her a visit. So here is the luscious Joanita, serving us lemonade (or whatever). When we were in Standard 12 at the Saint Joseph's Convent School I was elected by my fellow students to become the "Head Boy" and Joanita to be the "Head Girl", to oversee the school Morning Assembly, etc. The Mother Superior (who was also the Principal) could not hide her surprise at my being elected. I was a non Catholic. Joanita, of course, was a good Catholic. Nevertheless we proudly served jointly for the whole year, 1960, and democracy prevailed.
