Finally got around to getting a pier made. The base plate is 16mm thick steel and the central pipe has 8mm wall thickness. The small annular table should be helpful in placing all kinds of doodas when imaging. The lot is anchored to the concrete roof at 3 points, with steel washers placed between the base and the concrete to level the CGE. This was necessary since the roof (floor in this case) was built so that rain drains off...
