In a moment of ennui I decided to check out if the tiny Merope Nebula (IC349) is visible in the otherwise useless images in the previous slide, owing to ridiculously high light pollution. So the above is a 1:1 crop (make sure "original" is active below right) around Merope. Indeed IC349 is detectable, and at f1.9 too! Just for Greg at the C14 YahooGroup :-)
