Been experimenting with film again.
The Butcher does really have red/orange
skin of the SE Asian variety, and I find
that film does a better job of reproducing
it than my digital cameras, although it's
still not quite perfect.

I think you have created a portrait that is really nice,with film or no film the final result is great .To me the skin tones look really natural.V

Hey Jay, thanks for your advice, I'll have to try it again. In the past I have tried, and this guy just burns the sensor, lol! The Nikon D200, such as yours, actually did a close job. Best, Sam :-)

Sam, have you tried adjusting the Kelvin scale on your digital camera to change white balance? I have found that this works in situations like this.

Hi Bernard, thanks for your comments. The quality of this film is very good today!! All I did was scan it, and was impressed with the sharpness for an iso800 film, better than I remembered Fujicolor Press to be. Best, Sam

SAM how do you do for the scan, it is very similar in quality to a digital(...)?
