This image was shot with the original Canon 1Ds, introduced in 2002.
The original Canon 1Ds can be credited for the "rise" of digital as the
preeminent format of choice for professional photography. It is the camera
often credited for killing off film which once ruled as the one and only
photographic medium.
In 2002, the 1Ds represented the future of digital photogaphy: Full-Frame, high resolution,
and high image quality, things which we are enjoying more of with today's high quality
Digital SLR cameras.
Below: This is a track I remember hearing on the streets of NYC as a kid in the late 70's and early 80's.
It was sampled by the late Notorious B.I.G. and yes it can "hypnotize" you :-)
you could've fooled me...I would have thought 120 roll film...a 645 perhaps...the older ones definitely looked filmish....beautiful shot....oh and its hard to believe this track is almost 35 years old!.....V
