A Sad Song

Dad always had a thing for sad or sweet, but melancholy melodies.
He was not a sad or depressed person by any means, but there was
a solitary side to him that was always present, something that
somehow passed on to me. Yet, at the same time, he always seemed
to have a fear of loneliness and always wanted his family around.
And his family did not let him down, we were by his side when he
passed away. God bless you Dad, you can play for an eternity now.

Here's a melody he liked and played often on his violin...
