Art on Track is the largest mobile art exhibition in the world, transforming an eight-car CTA train into an alternative space for galleries and artists all over Chicago. The train circled the downtown Chicago Loop from 11am to 8pm on Saturday October 10th. The show represented both local and international contemporary artists. The eclectic nature of the show’s participants reflects the rich diversity of Chicago itself. With this melting pot of ideas and viewpoints, Art on Track promises work that will speak to every individual. It’s fun environment with the backdrop of the Chicago skyline makes this event an experience to remember.
Art on Track is produced by SALVO, a group of Chicago artists and designers, dedicated to the empowerment of the visual arts.
