West Texas has some beautiful skies. Whether its sunny or cloudy, the Texas sky is big,
bold and the first thing visitors notice when they come here.

Welcome to the skies of Texas.
As a certified storm spotter, I am treated to witness the dramatic skies of the Texas Panhandle. They can be spectacular indeed! But not all of our dramatic skies are stormy skies here. Many are just amazing because there is so much of it in these wide open spaces.

Hi Shelley! You say you're an amateur...but if you think like a professional, are always improving (reading, studying anything photo-related), study other photographers' work, know your stuff (technically), and you'd do it even if you didn't make money....then you are a professional! Some critics say you're not a professional until you have sold at least once, or been paid to do a shoot (portrait or whatever). To me, the difference between an amateur and a professional is how good your images are, really. And your images are great! It may not be your "real job," but you ARE professional!

Weather photo's are the best I have ever seen.... And I am a 4000 hr IFR pilot. Saw them up on Weatherunderground where Shelly calls herself an "amature".....I think not................
