A Day In My Life

An unexceptional and relatively typical day.
Another night of heartburn / GERD. My own fault for eating too much in the evening. About 4AM, able to lie down again. 7 AM Thinking about getting up, but no real need to.
Made it this far, but miserable. I'm trying, but why? To hell with it, I'm going back to bed. I sleep at least 3 times better in the day than at night.
Daylight come and me don wanna get up. If anyone on Earth hates getting up worse than me, I feel sorry for them. Late enough I suppose. About 10:00 AM now. Somewhat better.
Foot therapy for Plantar Fasciitis pain. Glaucoma eye drops, morning and night. Dressing lighty saves a bunch on the utility bill in summer. Voltaren for Plantar Fasciitis.
Voltaren on the foot four times a day. A bit of reading while the Voltaren dries. Somewhat reassemble the bed. Slip on the house shoes.
Still not happy. Various heart meds to take now and with food later. Feeding kitties. The kitties insist on being taken care of first!
Having some cereal. One of the few things I DO like about getting up. Getting more meds from the bottle. Last of the pills, for a while anyway. Washing my bowl and cat dishes.
Storing it away. Uggh, never happy anymore with what looks back at me in a mirror. Get a shower going. Be back in a few minutes.
Feeling a bit better. Still a bit damp, but mostly dry. Some more house clothes for now. Mow off the stubble. Can't stand a beard, though it seems to be a fad now.
Good enough to wear out today. Quick and easy to dress in the Summer. The shorts from 'Blair' are very nice. Some easy to slip on shoes too.
Are you wanting MORE to eat little fellow! A spot of hot ginger tea is better than coffee to me. You have reached a certain time in life when you need one of these things. Some leftover Thai Cafe food for lunch.
Good stuff from Thai Cafe. Leave It To Beaver on the tele! Let's have a cup cake! Yummy, just once a day at most.
Fish and mice all over.... haha, cat toys. At the vet, one of our kitties sick. Getting meds refilled at Walgreens. Their music is too loud! Doing a wellness check on brother in law's house while he is out of town.
Well, it gets some use. Take a load off for a few minutes. Getting late in the day. Checking the mail.
Back home, change into pure lounge lizard clothes! Time to put the Blair stuff back in the closet. Some comfy time. A little cat nap.
Another pill in the evening. A light but tasty dinner so no problems late at night. Night time round of eye drops. A game of chess with Mr. Apple before repose.
Hit the sack. Hopefully a decent night's sleep.
