NEW Redfish Trip - Biloxi, Mississippi, Feb 2014
Redfish / Red Drum (Sciaenops ocellatus) , the US species, is a great gamefish that NYAC anglers fly fished for in February, 2014 while sighting these large fish in the serene Mississippi marshes off Biloxi.
The happy anglers lived on the mother ship Southern Way, while small skiffs went into the quiet backwaters for tailing redfish. By the size and quantity caught, the anglers all had a great time. Meals were prepared on board and local fare like oysters were enjoyed by all! Many thanks to Denise Sanfilippo and John Flanagan for setting up another successful trip! Looks like each of the anglers were trip winners!
Yes!! We all wish we were there!!!
