MOMA Museum of Modern Art, New York City

Richard Serra has a stunning indoor and outdoor exhibit here which has to experienced in the 1st person to be appreciated. The spaces carved out by these minimalist COR-10 shapes and structures evoke feelings of isolation, interaction and 3 dimensional strength. His "Tilted Arc" was a controversial piece installed at the public space of Federal Plaza in downtown Manhattan in 1981 and was destroyed years later after some who worked at Federal Plaza felt the work interfered with the public space and invited grafitti. I miss that piece of work sorely. See images at the end to show what was installed afterwards by Martha Schwartz.
