• Maeda Sushi (前田) in Simsbury, Connecticut has outstanding sushi, sashimi and superb rolls with the tastiest fish toppings (neta) along with excellent sushi rice (shari). Maeda-san and Kohei-san will surprise you with their craft. You won't be disappointed. This sushi-ya has tastier sushi than most sushi restaurants in New York City.
• The chirashi-zushi ("scattered sushi") dishes have evolved over decades into a superb meal with ikura (salmon caviar) that's been prepared by Chef Maeda into delicate, tasty roe with the best texture and taste. The very tasty hikarimono (silver skin fishes) toppings have been marinated to perfection. There are special new products like Seaweed Jam, Kelp (Konbu), and Plum Dressing for salads for take home purchase.
