Filled with old cast iron support buildings once known for small manufacturing businesses, Tribeca is now home to converted loft buildings spotted with external fire escapes, a typical lower Manhattan sight along with the water tower on the roof. New construction means new glassy buildings abutting the older tall ceiling lofts.
