• Coney Island, home of the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest every July 4th, has a wide boardwalk, an entertainment area with rides, and a new baseball park. There's still nothing like a Nathan's Hot Dog with some French Fries after a day at the beach. The salty air and ocean breezes bring back memories of the summers when we swam in the salt water pools and in the ocean.
• Coney Island Terminal, Stillwell Ave/Surf Ave is the end terminal station of the N, D, F, Q subway lines. Just across the street is Nathan's Hot Dogs, The Original, in business since 1916. The hot dog was 50 cents when I was a kid. Now it's....don't ask.
• The D train subway starts in the Bronx, goes through Manhattan, and ends at Brooklyn's famous Coney Island. We took the N train from Manhattan to Coney Island.
