Bratislava - On the Danube

Bratislava, the capital city of the Slovak Republic, has the old blending into the new. Being 13 years old from the peaceful "Velvet Divorce" from Czechoslovakia, the Slovak Republic joined the EU in May, 2004. Bratislava still maintains the old charm without the overrunning of the streets by commercial chain places.
