In the United States, the traditional family farm is fading from existence. The economics make it almost impossible to start farming unless you already have an operation in your family. Many children are not eager to take over the family farm when higher paying jobs with less risk can be had in the city. As a result the rural landscape empties out and the remaining farming operations slowly become corporate owned. Absentee ownership creates it's own set of problems. This photo set is blurry and out focus for a reason. It is to capture the farm fading or fleeting from existence.
