These photos of coastal Oregon and the northwest corner of Washington State were mainly taken in July 2006, although a few (mostly the Oregon shots) were taken on other visits over the last four years. The area has a remarkable diversity of climates, ranging from the arid rain shadow around Sequim to the saturated rain forest and dramatic coastline on the "west side".
