Black Medic

Shaw Nature Reserve, Missouri

The blossoms on this flower are only about half an inch or one cm across. This is actually not a native, having been introduced from Europe and Africa as cattle forage. But it has spread all over the Ozarks.

It looks like low hop clover, trifoleum campestre. And it's a beauty! well done. v
