Rome

All images in this gallery were taken in the Spring of 2004. This was my first trip using digital cameras and the experience (after nearly 30 years of shooting film) rekindled my interest in photography. After experiencing the control and immediate feedback offered by digital I've not used film since. The majority of images were taken with a Canon 10D with either a Canon 16~35 f2.8L or 28~135 f3.5/5.6IS lens. A few of the images were taken with a Canon S40. Nice work, Robert. You captured it well. Ironically my first dslr was also a Canon 10d. It was a great camera and I got lots of use from it. Still have it along with 3 other dslrs so it rarely gets used anymore. When I visited Italy my widest lens was not wide enough... which means I need to return.
