Montpellier Snake ( Malpolon monspessulanus Culebra bastarda) ?

Spainish Steppe

Nearly ran this snake over when looking for Dupont's Larks in the Spanish Steppe. It is a common snake in Spain and in theory - it is venomous. It's fangs are far back in the mouth and it is unlikely to kill a human.

other sizes: small medium original auto
