Nestor notabilis
Both the Kaka and the Kea are endemic parrots of NZ. The Keas inhabit alpine forests, and we saw
this one near the pass between the east and west side of the South Island. These two were chasing each other around,
and I was fortunate to catch them with their brightly colored wings displayed.
