On Friday May 21 we visited Santa Cruz Island, in and around the port city of Puerto Ayora and in the highland area. We started out with a bus ride to Los Gemelos, a pair of collapse crates formed by volcanic activity. From there, we visited some Lava tubes, tunnels created by lava flows on the island. We then went to a tortoise farm, and then back to the boat for lunch. After lunch, we visited the Darwin Research Station.
