On the second day, May 17, we visited Genovesa Island. In the morning we made a dry
landing at Prince Philips Steps, where we saw a great variety of birds. After lunch, we traveled
to another site on the island, where we made a wet landing on the beach at Darwin Bay. There we
saw sea lions and more birds.
