We traveled to Seattle for Claire's baby shower, hosted by some of her friends on her soccer team.

This is the finished puzzle. All those solid black areas on the dogs' fur are very hard to sort out!
Claire and Laurie got out a puzzle to work while the football games were on New Year's Day. We didn't buy a new puzzle this year, but instead they "recycled" one from an earlier year. Turns out to be a very hard puzzle to work.
This is a last-minute shot on Monday 12/27 before we rushed off to the airport to send Lea Ann back home to California.

The girls thought it would be fun to see if they remembered how to ice skate, so we went up to the ice rink and they took about a dozen turns around the rink (before their ankles got sore). Not too bad, I think.
