Looking at these is like looking in to a mirror of my own mind for the past days Ruth. If only you knew how strong these pictures actually are. Hearing voices, having someone, something telling you what to think, what to see in front of you. Trying anything and evertthing to block them out but it is just not possible. Scary, and without any way of escaping. Few people knows what it is actually about. It is hard to imagaine unitll you are actually there. When you are you find yourself in the most terrifying enviroment ever and even though you know it is not real, it all seem so very real at the time. I just came out from the hospital a few days ago after having had a number of those days you so well potrait here. This coule just as well have been pictures of me trying to close out the scenes i had in my mind at the time. Scary stuff Rith, well made of you and above all very brave.
A terrifying sequence, Ruthie -- expressing a gradually soul fleeing before us into the depths of despair. What we see here is you, and that context makes them mean so more much to us. These images are honest, intimate, and all too real, accumulating force three times over when edited in this manner and displayed as a sequence. You make us hear those voices almost as loudly as you must. You have told us how you sometimes feel when your world closes in on you, but those were with words. Here, you allow us to live these moments with you in images as well. You create art out of life here, Ruthie, and done so with a force seldom encountered.

ruthie, these pictures are very expressive of the anguish and intensity we all feel sometimes. thank you for using your photography and struggles to visually strike the chord in us all.
We all hear voices. The most important thing is to ignore the one's with bad ideas and pick the voices with uplifting beatiful ideas. Right now I have a voice telling me..."Boy, She sure is good behind the camera!"
I am keeping an eye on this gallery! (Or so the voices tell me!) :~)
