Laurie and Dave, married in the old blacksmith's shop, Gretna Green on June 21st 2007.

Famous for runaway weddings, the Gretna blacksmith and his anvil have become the lasting symbols of weddings still held here. As a "forger", the blacksmith marries hot metal to metal over the anvil, in the same way the anvil priests forged a union between couples who had eloped in love.

The first wedding I've shot - it was a lot of fun, both the days and the photography!

Big congratulations to the wonderful couple, may this be the last time you two get married! :)

They were lucky to have you doing their pictures. Good range of 'classic moments', portaits and all those little details that were so carefully planned. I'm sure the happy couple are thrilled. I did a wedding a year or so ago and it's was a huge affair and I was VERY nervous the whole day.
