Work submitted with my dissertation, which was an exploration of female identity being dependent on being seen, including analysis of the male gaze in cinema and photography, and feminist work produced in critical response.

there is something very honest about your work and clearly the way you view the world, your images are very powerful and stopped me in my tracks. Wonderful work that connects with some pain in us all, by the comments left in your galleries you have conected with many people - that is a genuine talent among so much mediocrity. As in, for the Ph.D. ? I'm encouraged that there are still women that are interested in being called feminist. I used to teach a class on Madonna and why she is what/who she is; this was for a communication course and the passions were always high among the women as opposed to the men.
