Vivid Sydney 2014

An orgy of cameras snap snap snapping millions of pix.

Vivid Sydney is now the largest outdoor art gallery in the world. The Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Museum of Contemporary Art, Customs House and in fact all building along the water front of Circular Quay were illuminated by dazzling light shows. There is also over 100 smaller exhibits alongside the waterfront at various locations.

The show commences in the last week of May & runs for two weeks. Crowds are considerable & a major influx of tourists, all with cameras. Sydney really buzzes with energy. Bars and restaurants are filed to capacity and night food markets keeps everyone well fed.

Even Canon sponsored some events & I had an invitation to their site. Free prints & all of their range was on show. I was tempted to upgrade my 5Dii to a 5Diii.
