Held every year on the Father's day weekend at Sydney Motor Sport Park at Eastern Creek in Sydney.

Saturday is the day for car photography - plenty of space & easy access for trackside photography. This is the enthusiast's day. Tickets include access to the pits and most drivers are happy to chat about the cars they race.

Sunday is more of a spectacle and the crowd is more family oriented. This year will see a homage to the fanfare of race start at Bathurst where 60 cars will be on the starting grid.

I have my 2 day pass & VIP parking so I can leave stuff in the car if need be.

1 spare Canon battery [no longer use non OEM]
1 spare 8GB CF card
I shoot some in RAW, but mainly in JPG with my own picture style and the centre cross selection for AF. I occasionally set this to the upper or lower cross position to suit my framing needs depending on circuit location.
