This crab was determined not to be lunch. His claws were grabbing onto the inside of the pelican's beak and he refused to be swallowed. The Pelican was shaking it's head and rapidly opening and closing its beak, presumably to dislodge & swallow the crab.

I don't know who won as the pelican had it's beak closed for the last 3 frames of my extended capture
