Inquisitive Cows

Breadalbane, NSW, Australia view map

I went to this location to shoot the Gemini's meteorite shower mainly but also to get some images with a recently purchased used astro modified camera. The cows were inquisitive as to what we were doing. Not really happy if we walked over to them. Started off with 5 cows but we had 15 cows watching 2 photographers fight mosquitos and non familiarity in setting up star trackers by the time the sky was dark. No clouds so no dramatic sunset, but perfect for astrophotography but nice muted blue/purple/magenta colours in the eastern sky. There are wind turbines in the hills behind the cows.

Cows have nothing better to do and are always happy to see something different also thinking they might get some feed as well 8-) Will watch for your astrophotography posts

A beautiful sky over this serene scene.
