Male Australian Huntsman spider at the door. Rainy weather so possibly seeking a dry place.
Quite a large spider at 4” or 100mm leg to leg. The can jump and are night hunters. Usually not aggressive. Painful bite not lethal to humans. Note the size of the fangs. Not mosquito feeders. Favourite food is cockroaches which have been plentiful due to a wet summer. They live for approximately 3-5 years and unusual for a spider they mate for life. So somewhere nearby is another huntsman spider.
