Whilst travelling down the Hume I saw this shot & climbed out with camera to take. Tramped through the long grass stomping my feet to scare any snakes away but when I got to the edge of the highway, I saw another parallel road to the highway so back to the car to check Google Maps & sure enough 3km down the road I could backtrack.
End result was a series of images where the blue sky and cloud needed no manipulation other than a slight contrast boost.
The new 16-35 f4 L IS lens is a keeper. Unfortunately the detail is lost from the original but jpg file sizes 50 to 60 MB are way too large for this site.
