Forret de Soignes(Belgique)

L'Écureuil de Corée, Eutamias sibiricus, originaire d'Asie, est fréquemment élevé en cage par des "amis" des animaux. Il a été introduit dans le vallon des Enfants Noyés, vers 1974, on ne sait trop comment. Ultérieurement, d'autres spécimens abandonnés ont pu rejoindre la population déjà constituée. Ce joli petit animal fait désormais partie de la faune permanente de la forêt, avec une population qui atteint probablement plusieurs milliers d'individus.

The Squirrel of Korea, Eutamias sibiricus, native to Asia, is often high in animal box by "friends" of the animals.
