Labor Day Weekend #1

Rancho Bernardo, CA

Yesterday I mentioned I had to spend the weekend slaying dragons. Here I’m helping my Alma Mater (University of Colorado) combat arch enemy Colorado State University. I’m also finishing up “Free Fall”; an incredible book about skydiving, the SAS, and lunacy by Nish Bruce which was sent to by my Pbase mate Dougie Young

Tonight my Padres take on the hated Dodgers. Another dragon headed for their demise.

Oh, no art of the walls yet. Still making my selections and we need to do more painting.

How do you like this 15mm fisheye view?

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 15mm f/2.8
1/60s f/4.0 at 15.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I like the grey wall - tell Lynn good job!
The fish eye really captures the whole room in all it's glory. I'm not sure if I ever even noticed the ceiling in real life ;-)

Very comfortable Digs Robin. You do these shots so well - it is like walking into the room ! Good camera placement, exposure etc.

Pictures will certainly "round out" the room. The TV looks great, but couldn't you get a larger set? LOL

The fish eye really puts a curve to things Robin. Good luck with all the Dragons. Looks like you will have a busy weekend.

Hey you! Love that lens and looks like you've found something to fill your weekend with. Me? Well, we partied with my folks and worked around the house, plans that will continue tomorrow and Monday. Also watched the boys in their first football games of the season. Any trips to Colorado soon?

That's how to take it easy.

I like the expansive view from the 15mm.

It will be hard to find artwork with a bend to match those walls but i'm sure you'll manage ;>))
