Herb has spent much time here photographing Egrets and Herons. It is currently being restored.

This view is looking West past Interstate 5. The City of Del Mar stretches from left to right, and the Del Mar race track (and Fairgrounds) is under the right wing.

Sorry about all the struts and wires. They hold the biplane together. ;-)

I have never been in one of these but I flew ina Breezey once . . . . exhilirating and frightening all at once terrific aerial view here, RR

I thought you might be doing a little wing walking while you were up there! LOL! I think the lines and struts add a definate flavor to the shot!

I took a tour of the lagoon restoration a couple of weeks ago. It is a $ 78 million project and it will take 2 more years to complete. Great overview

With all of those wires and struts I'm surprized you didn't climb out of the wing for a shot, lol.
