Monochrome May with a touch of Color

A dirty little secret about Southern California is that we usually have overcast skies on the Coast during May and June (referred to euphemistically speaking as May Gray and June Gloom). I took this shot at Del Mar Beach just before having a really fine evening with at Jake’s with Millie’s Mom and Lynn and Don. (see below) This was the beginning of my official birthday week which will culminate in a party at Anne's home this Saturday.
