May 18: Orange Crush

San Diego County, CA

Monochrome May with Lots of Color

Why this shot? Why now? Why not ? I just happened to be wearing my NQ tee shirt and was wondering what to do for an SP today.

Here I'm standing in front of the aerial shot of the protest I took last March from a helicopter.

I've been rading Scott Kelby's "The Photoshop Channels Book" which is an excellent tutorial for using channels to easily extract parts of an image etc. Here I was actually standing in front of a white backdrop.

so you DIDN'T commission a giant helium balloon to be made in your image . . .??

This reminds me, it is time I turn off this computer and open a book.
It sounds like the one you are reading is a good one.

Hey Robin, I remember that shot from the copter. In the thumb I thought you'd gone to work for U-Haul.

I'm going to read that! This is spectacular! Love it Robin!

I am reading that at the moment as well. You are correct, it is a great book for this sort of thing. Great job, sir.
