We have spent a great deal of time digging around in archives and visiting cemeteries. Despite the focus on the past, the overwhelming feeling has been one of adventure and relaxation in a landscape of green and flowers that have at times been breathtaking. Now (Tuesday) we are off to tour the land of classic mid-America: The Land of Lincoln and Mark Twain.
