La Jolla from the air

La Jolla, CA

This is a rare perspective on La Jolla (in the foreground) looking north from an altitude of about 2500 feet. Look carefully beyond the “town” and you will see Scripps Pier and the Torrey Pines Cliffs (where Herb gets many of his great shots). Beyond the cliffs lies the little burg of Del Mar.

Hey, and beyond Del Mar is Cardiff by the Sea, where I once stayed for a week... can't see it here though!

Man! I envy you guys out there! If I took an air shot of my neighborhood it would look like this text box...without the text!

Cool shot, Robin. Can you get one of my neighborhood next?

Very nice, Robin. The way the land fades off in the distance is especially nice.

You know that talk of Del Mar and La Jolla makes me pine for a San Diego trip. As it happens I may be vernturing to California later in the year but it looks likely to be San Francisco...another wonderful place though.

I'm not sure where I am supposed to be looking but this is fantastic. I would love to do some aerial photography. Did you ever see the central park skaters photo?
