Affairs of the Heart

Rancho Bernardo, CA

The Charger's sloppy loss to the Patriots (hats off to Karen) cut to the heart. The good news is my dinner date was a warm and enjoyable experience.

As a Buffalo Bills fan I can empathize. I was cheering for the Chargers. Sorry.

I share your feelings, Robin. I was sick at heart. Time for a new coach, methinks!

I'm thinking that knife will not have to be used on the steak that is so gonna be tender it will be cut with a fork :)
Lots of lousy playing and Sunday might well have been our last hurrah.

And yes, we want to know :)

Glad you had a great date!! (Sometimes those can be as few and far between as Super Bowls! ;-) I speak for myself!!) My heart is not in the playoffs this year... We're just worried about a new coach!

Glad your date was better than that game. What a disaster it was.
snootydog16-Jan-2007 02:49
sorry about your chargers, but um, I thought I made it clear that you were to give a full report of your dinner date. Your pbase family has to approve. Or maybe its just me being nosy. either way.

Oh, I thought this photo was telling us the date was a disaster! Whew!

Good news and bad news.

Could be worse, Robin. I'm about 5 miles from the Bengals...:) I was hoping the Chargers would win....guess it just wasn't in the cards.

Since I'm pulling for the Saints to go all the way I'll just be happy for your enjoyable dinner date...

Awwww, and I was so looking forward to the Saints beating the Chargers in the Super Bowl.

They may not have gone all the way, but they had a heck of a year.
David Mingay15-Jan-2007 18:08
I don't know anything about the Chargers or the Patriots, but if it feels anything like Spurs losing to Newcastle yesterday, I feel your pain!
Bryan Ramsay15-Jan-2007 17:44
I know the feeling!! -BJ
