Please oh please oh please don't take this the wrong way. I am not trying to be mean or unsupportive. I really do like these flowers, but something about this shot is falling a little flat for me and I am not sure why. Certainly your photographed them impeccably and the detail is all there and so is the light but something is missing and I don't know what it is.

Pretty yellow, Robin. Sadly, I've seen signs of spring here also. Spring can be quite beautiful here. It's our six month summer that I hate.
