Good news … the Dell problem was fixed (with their help) within thirty minutes! That means I can begin to work on more of the NW travel shots.

This one was taken about 20 minutes after we circled Mt. St. Helens. We headed south to the Columbia River Gorge and then headed East toward the Dalles.

I always enjoy amusing myself with my camera when I'm on a flight. Glad all is well with your computer and that it was just a false alarm. Reminds me I am overdue for a backup !

I caught two spring chinook this year in that section of the river. Wind River flows into the Columbia from Washington where that lone mountain is on the left and adjacent to the river. If you go to my gallery called "spring chinook" you will see photos of the same area but at river level.
