Many visitors think of San Diego as a tourist mecca of sun and surf highlighted by our famous beaches and zoo. The harbor tour is a great reminder that we are a huge Navy town … in fact the largest Naval presence on the West Coast.

For you flatlanders, this is a dry dock where one of our ***Ticonderoga Class Cruiser***is being refurbished after a recent tour in the Gulf.

Very nice, Robin. My son works on top an aircraft carrier and is based on the east coast now. He took basic training in San Diego and really liked the area.....once he got out of basic..:)
